You don't have to talk about it.
You just have to breathe.

01 Welcome

Stop managing how you feel, for one hour.

I'm Heidi Pancake, a certified facilitator of conscious connected breathwork. I guide individuals and small groups through a powerful, body-based practice that helps release stored stress and trauma, and return to a sense of calm, safety, and connection.

This isn't talk therapy, and it isn't a workout. It's a chance to stop managing how you feel for one hour, and let your body do what it already knows how to do: let go.

People who do breathwork describe a euphoria they didn’t expect. Some compare it to a psychedelic experience, reached through nothing but your own breath.

If you are looking for an active, mindful practice, this is for you.

02 The Practice

Breath as a trauma-healing modality

1

The generations keep the score

Trauma doesn't always start with you. Research in epigenetics suggests that overwhelming experience can leave marks on how our DNA is expressed, passing stress responses down through generations. The body you live in carries stories older than your own, and much of what it holds lives below language.

2

The breath reaches deeper

Conscious connected breathwork uses a circular, continuous breathing pattern that gently shifts your physiology. It engages the autonomic nervous system directly and softens the mind's defenses, allowing stored tension to move and release. People often describe finally exhaling something they've held for years.

3

The research agrees

A 2023 meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (published in Nature's Scientific Reports) found breathwork was associated with significantly lower stress, anxiety, and depression. Slow, conscious breathing improves heart-rate variability and vagal tone while lowering cortisol.

The research is still growing, and breathwork is best understood as a complement to, not a replacement for, professional care. Saying this plainly matters more to us than overclaiming ever could.

03 What You May Experience

What people come back for

Relief from chronic stress, anxiety, and the feeling of being "stuck."

Emotional release: access to feelings talk alone hasn't reached.

A calmer nervous system: better sleep, steadier mood, more resilience.

A felt sense of safety in the body, often for the first time in years.

Connection: to yourself, and to a room of others doing the same brave work.

05 About Me

Holding space is the work I trained for.

If you're like me, your life is full and your brain can be busy. Shutting off the self judgement and showing up for yourself through transcendental breathwork is a life hack you didn't know was possible.

I came to breathwork at a pivotal time when I knew meditation would be wildly beneficial, but I couldn't make it happen. No matter how hard I tried, my brain could. not. shut. off.

I'm certified through the Jon Paul Crimi breathwork teacher training, a method built on holding space safely as deep emotions surface. It would be an honor to breathe with you.

06 Good to know

Is breathwork right for me?

Breathwork is safe for most people and no experience is needed. Because conscious connected breathing is an intense practice, please consult your doctor first if you are pregnant or have cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, or other significant medical concerns. Breathwork is a complement to, not a replacement for, professional medical or mental-health care. If you're unsure, reach out and we'll find the gentlest way to begin.

Come exactly as you are.

Your breath is waiting.
